Last Night At The Ellington

When the managers of the Ellington learn their classic movie theater is closing to make way for a new megaplex, they come up with a plan to shut the Ellington down in style.

 

LAST NIGHT AT THE ELLINGTON marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Geoffrey Gunn. Mr. Gunn's previous writing credits include the feature films DIRTY WEEKEND, GARM WARS: THE LAST DRUID, and CINEMA PURGATORIO.

 

The short was funded in part by South Carolina Film Commission and Trident Technical College's Indie Grants Program and the Greenville Metropolitan Arts Council. The film was shot on location in Charleston, South Carolina, and post-produciton services were provided by Post City Sound Inc. and Red Square Motion in Toronto, Canada.
